Furrever Friends were a short lived series produced by Kenner from 1986 to 1988.

The plush toys had velcro attached tails which could be extended to any length affordable via "Tail Toppers", while the Clip n' Tail series had plastic bodies which when squeezed would open up the front paws so they could clip onto things.

Tail Toppers

There were at least five different coloured Tail Toppers. Each pack contained three tails with a bow attached to each.

There was also a mail order/special offer Tail Topper called Tail Salon which came with:

  • 1 violet Tail Topper
  • 1 hot pink bow w/elastic
  • 1 purple pom pom w/elastic
  • 3 long ribbons (pink, yellow & blue)
  • 1 cushion w/elastic band on bottom and velcro in the middle on the top (unsure of use but Anjalee suggests "it could be put on your arm and attach a tail to comb, brush or decorate. Or you could put in on the kittie's back and add another set of tails."
