Herself the Elf was produced
by Mattel under license of American Greetings Corporation
from 1982. The series included small poseable dolls (very
similar to Strawberry Shortcake), playsets, animation
and various accessories.
"Herself the Elf lives in a magical
land tucked in a forest where tall trees stand. It's where
birds and bees live happy as can be, with all kinds of
animals great and small... 'cause Herself the Elf takes
care of them all. Now that's a very big job for a little
elf, but not for an elf as clever as Herself. Herself
and friends use magic wands to keep things right, so nature
keeps humming each day and night."

| Poseable Dolls |
There were five poseable
dolls produced measuring roughly 5 inches high. Each one
came with paintede on tights, removeable dress, hair peice,
boots and wand. Each dress had a little tinkling bell attached.
