Little Beauties were produced by Multi Toys Corp in 1987-90. They were a series of small plastic ponies with moulded clothes and brushable manes and tails. They were very similar to Petite My Little Ponies, and often get mistaken for them or written off as "fakies".

Sunstreak Ponies

As I've never come across any images of the Sunstreak ponies, so it's always possible that they were never produced, or only at a very small level. The left image was found on the playset packaging dated 1990.

I would guess that the ponies had a section of hair which could change colour in the sun (triggered by heat).
