My Little Pony (aka G1 or 1st Generation) were originally produced by Hasbro for twelve years from 1982 to 1994, with the last two years only being sold in UK/Europe, making them very collectable to US buyers. There were literally hundreds (if not thousands!) of ponies produced, as well as ample playsets and other pony accessories. The series re-emerged in 1997-99 (G2) with new look ponies, then again in 2003 to present day (G3) with another design over-hall. The only ponies listed here are the G1 line.

MLP items are grouped by production year and divided into Ponies, Special Offer Ponies and Accessories & Playsets. I have noted were ponies & playsets were (or weren't) produced for the UK as best possible, plus added in as many Euro/other variations as I can find.

Brush Me Beautiful Boutique [UK name "Grooming Parlour" + UK/Euro variation]

In the US this playset was called "Brush Me Beautiful Boutique" and in the UK "Grooming Parlour". It was a re-issue of Year 2's Pretty Parlour (UK name Grooming Parlour) only in different colours. It had the same accessories, again produced in different colours.

The one big difference was that in the US it didn't come with a pony, but in the UK/Europe it came with a pony called Kiss Curl. The pet cat's name also differed, in the US she was called Catnip and in the UK she was called Snowball.

Poof 'n Puff Perfume Palace [UK name "Perfume Puff Palace"]

In the US this playset was called Poof 'n Puff Perfume Palace and in the UK Perfume Puff Palace.

It came with plenty of accessories but no pony, although it was closely linked to Year 7's Perfume Puff Ponies.

Accessories

There were two sets of accessories produced in Year 6, the Mummy Charms and Pretty Ups.

Mummy Charms

"My Little Pony Mummies are extra special girls. They work hard to be their very best. They teach their ponies to be their best, too. Pony Charms help remind pony mummies of all the important things that make her especially good. To help you remember what each charm stands for, the ponies have written a special poem just for you!"

There were twenty Mummy Charms which were about an inch high and made from fully moulded plastic. They had a symbol on one side only and a little loop on their backs so they could be attached to a special mail order bracelet. I haven't been able to find images of all the Mummy Charms, so have included their illustrations too.
