My Little
Pony (aka G1 or 1st Generation) were originally
produced by Hasbro for twelve years from 1982 to
1994, with the last two years only being sold in
UK/Europe, making them very collectable to US buyers.
There were literally hundreds (if not thousands!)
of ponies produced, as well as ample playsets and
other pony accessories. The series re-emerged in
1997-99 (G2) with new look ponies, then again in
2003 to present day (G3) with another design over-hall.
The only ponies listed here are the G1 line.
MLP items are grouped
by production year and divided into Ponies,
Special Offer Ponies and Accessories
& Playsets. I have noted were ponies
& playsets were (or weren't) produced for the
UK as best possible, plus added
in as many Euro/other variations as I can find.

9 Ponies |
Year 9 had twelve
new sets of ponies, three of which were only released in
the UK/Europe. There were four new special offers and four
new playsets and accessories.

| Firefly's
Adventure [VHS] |

Firefly's
Adventure was originally shown on US TV in
1984 and simply called "My Little Pony".
Year 9 saw it released on VHS for general sale and
included pony Firefly. This version
of Firefly was posed differently from Year 2's version
and also had a non-glittery symbol. Neither the VHS
nor this version of Flirefly were sold in the UK.

Day Pony [UK/Euro playset] |

Sweet Clover,
The Picnic Day Pony
was only sold in the UK and parts of Europe. In the
UK she had a pink body, whereas in Europe her body
was peach.
Sweet Clover came
with a variety of accessories including:
- sun hair-pick,
ribbon, two
lavender and white butterfly hair-clips
- two aqua plates,
two blue teacups, two blue forks, two blue spoons
- red and white guitar,
yellow teddy bear
- pink basket, checked

Rosette,
The Prize Day Pony
was only sold in the UK and parts of Europe.
Rosette came with
a variety of accessories including:
- Heart shaped clip brush, ribbon
- Brush on a rope, four lavender
jump stands, two yellow jump bars, one aqua gate
jump, two lavender 1st place rosettes

Schoolhouse
was a UK/Euro playset, and was never sold in the US.
The Playschool Baby Ponies, also
released in Year 9, were designed to go with it, and
the Schooltime Ponies could be used
as teachers.
The playset came with
many accessories.
