"High in the clouds, in the land of Etheria in Crystal Castle! lives the beautiful Princess Adora. When danger threatens, she transforms into She-Ra the Princess of Power, the most exciting and powerful woman in the universe! She and her friends must use their magical powers against their jealous enemy, Catra."

She-ra: Princess of Power toys were produced by Mattel from 1984-87. Each doll was 51/2 inches tall with brushable hair and came with various clothing and accessories. There were also winged horses which the dolls could ride along with several other animals, playsets, fashions and many other accessories for little girls to use plus an animated cartoon series. The series of toys were discontinued in 1987.

Series 1 Dolls ~ [1984]

"Each of these Princess of Power dolls has a different look, a unique personality and a special action feature."

There were nine figures produced in 1984, seven goodies (including the one and only male character), one baddie and one owl figure.

Every doll in the first series came with a light pink comb and a mini-comic and various pieces of clothing. They all had painted-on bodices, boots and cuffs and some had painted-on leggings too.

She-Ra

Angella

Castaspella
	Enchantress who hypnotises! Her hypnotising disk can spin! Included: Yellow Net Skirt Gold Collar Gold Spinning Disk (attached to back) Pink Comb Mini-comic Disappearing Treasure' Castaspella was released with several different designs of boots painted on her legs including one with solid yellow boots and one with lightning bolts on them.

Catra [baddie]

Double Trouble

Kowl [owl figure]

Series 2 Dolls ~ [1986]

"Now the magical land of Etheria is even more enchanting. There are lots of new characters, from the lovely Perfuma to the tricky Entrapta . This year, She-Ra has a shimmery starburst cape and Swift Wind sparkles like crystal. More than ever, children will be fascinated with this world filled with beauty, fantasy and adventure."

"Introducing glamorous new Princess of Power dolls that are as exciting as they are beautiful. They all have special action features, so children can pretend that they fly through the skies of Etheria or have wonderful magical powers.
She-Ra's friends are Perfuma, the scent-sational flower maiden; Flutterina, the beautiful 'flying' lookout; SweetBee, a honey of a guide; PeekaBlue, a watchful "feathered" friend; and Mermista, a mist-i-fying mermaid. Scratchin' Sound Catra's mischievous friends are Entrapta, a tricky golden beauty and Clawdeen, a glamorous cat."

There were eight dolls produced in 1986. She-ra and Catra were re-released along with five new goodies and one new baddie.

Every doll in the second series came with a different coloured shield and matching comb, mini-comic and various pieces of clothing.

There were three dolls left unproduced in 1987 the series was discontinued in 1987 called the Star Sister.

"Long ago, an evil sorceress imprisoned the Star Sisters inside a gleaming star and sent it shooting towards Etheria. It came to rest in a cave beneath Crystal Castle were it was discovered by She-ra. Starla, Tallstar, Jewelstar, and Glory Bird Pledged their loyalty and magical powers to her!"
