The Mr and I popped into Raleigh on Tuesday, and I found a Tickle Me Elmo, Lego Star Wars clock and Mort by Terry Pratchett. We needed milk on the way home, and the bus stop is right outside a charity shop. So we popped in and I found five little toys in the 10p box (including Piypon and Momiji). And after buying milk we happened to walk past another charity shop, where I found an original Furby and a Pinky Cooper doll!
Monday’s charity shop haul, collected up whilst volunteering, , included Monsters Inc., Cat In The Hat, Muppets, Powerpuff Girls, Harry Potter, My Little Pony (fakies?), Lego Movie 2 McDonalds Happy Meal, Littlest Pet Shop, Fizz ‘n’ Surprise and three vintage kitchen items. Plus an odd Lalaloopsy boot and a Pinypon wig. My bag was full by the time I had finished my shift!
My visit to Bath to see the folks at the end of the month was most fruitful on the charity shop front! I bought thirteen Woman’s Weekly magazines from 1972, Pretty In Pink the novel, a Postman Pat LP, Jackie Annual 1985 and a photo book all about Frances Ford Coppola’s “Dracula” movie.
I found a few toys in my local charity shops towards the end on March (Kermit, VIP Pets, Moshi Monsters, Barbie, Zelfs, Party Pop Teenines & a Lego Movie 2 Happy Meal toy) and a Madonna CD. I can’t remember exactly when I bought the Lexicon game as it was hidden in my desk drawer to stop the little cat from eating the elastic band keeping it all together (it was recent though)!
I won my very own “Double Header” Lots-a-Lots-a-Leggggggs whilst I was away visiting the folks, and I totally forgot I had bid on it! It arrived a few days ago, and is just lovely.
I found three excellent 80’s things this week; a whole bunch of charms, a Sindy doll and a Flower Fairies annual! I also found Moxie Girlz, Barbie, Bat Girl, Snow White, Cinderella, a My Little Pony headband thingie, “Haircutting for Everyone” and two baby dresses for the fabric.
I found a mixture of things this week, including vintage plastic picnic items (Mr Men!), Teeny Tiny Tumbles Surprise, Polly Pocket, Monster High, a furry bunny bag, Black Books and two fruity t-shirts!

The mister and I popped out on Saturday for a mooch around town (there may also have been cider) and I came back with all sorts of goodies! I found a Mr Tickle money pot, two Lalaloopsy dolls, a pink Frizzys, The Graffalo, a Puppy Surprise talking baby, two more Furbys, a Moshi Monster, Masters Of The Universe and Fighting Fantasy books, and a Rubik’s Octagon.

Half term week meant lots of pottering around and lots of charity shop finds. It’s a good job I am about to put up some more shelves as I’ve run out of room! I found Sweet Valley High, Lalaloopsy, Sweet Secrets, Furbys, Moshi Monsters, Glimmies, Ladybird and Brambly Hedge books, Puppy Surprise, Equestria Girls, Monster High, Ever After High & Mr Men.
I needed cat food and bread, I came back with dolls. Lalaloopsy, Disney Descendants, Forever After High, Disney Princess and a Fairy Princess to be precise. Plus the cat food and bread.
A decent selection of finds from Monday and Tuesday’s charity shop rummages, including Moshi Monsters, My Little Pony, Mr Men, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Star Wars!
Last Tuesday my friend Martin bought round a large offering of cheesy LP’s (58 to be precise). I was VERY happy!
I had the most excellent find in one of the charity shops in town when I popped out for milk: a super rare MIB Powerpuff Girls “Best Friends” Buttercup animated talking doll for £3.00!
Yesterday’s charity shop goodies included a Swatch watch, three little Hello Kitty figures, a Frankenstein’s monster keyring and five Twistheads.
A couple of weeks ago I found a Lego Star Wars: Rogue One “K-2SO” figure in the Salvation Army charity shop, followed a week later by a Monster High “Geni Grant” doll. I thought it would be fun to photograph them together!
I found a few little bits and pieces on Monday in the charity shop, including four Ladybird Books, two PJ Masks figures and The Transformers Card Game.
I started volunteering in my favourite charity shop on Monday morning (The Lions), and on my way into the children’s section my eyes were magnetically drawn to a small plush toy sitting on the shelf. It was a POPPLES! Through out the morning I also picked up a few G4 My Little Ponies, a Danger Mouse pin, another kitty purse, a Shopkins “Strawberry Kiss” Illumi-mate, a Miffy book and a Count Duckula book.
