Last Wednesday weeks charity shopping found me a Puppy Surprise, two Equestria Girls, twelve My Little Pony “My Busy Book” minis and four other minis, plus three MLP style keyrings and a Pokemon miniature figure!
I found three excellent vintage items a couple of weeks ago whilst charity shopping: the yellow Playboot by Matchbox with accessories, a Sky Dancers launcher and a Polly Pocket case. I also found a Cupcake Surprise (with hat!), five Hello Kitty figures, one Shopkins Shoppies, one Enchantimals, plush and mini Moshi Monsters, two McDonalds Furbys, a Lalaloopsy pet, a Littlest Pet Shop crab, Magiki Ladybirds and a set of keys!
I’ve been a bit slow of late photographing my finds as I bought this group at the end of May. I had eyed this Disney Tangled “Rapunzel” toddler doll a short while before buying her, but decided against her at the time as I thought she was a bit over priced for a doll with such a mess of quite literately tangled hair. Then when I went back into the charity shop a week later I found she had been reduced so bought her along with three modern Polly Pocket dolls, a Shopkins character and another couple of little unknown toys, then set to sorting out the birds nest on top of her head!
I came back with a selection of little odds and sods from my trip into Rayleigh a couple of weeks ago. My favourite find is the creepy rabbit clock with moving eyes and ears. I found two G3 and one G4 My Little Pony plus a Cutie Crew figure, a Cupcake Surprise (but no surprise she hatless), two Lalaloopsy pets, and various little figures including characters from Disney Princess, Moshi Monsters, Roary the Racing Car, Finding Nemo and Waybuloo.
I added more to my Moshi Monster & Furby collections this week, plus LOL and Shopkins stickers, LOL onesies and an ugly Eggbert figure. I also found an Emma Watson Disney Princess “Belle” doll from the movie Beauty & The Beast.
Last Tuesday during my rounds in Rayleigh, I picked up the complete collection of Paddington Bear TV episodes, a large G4 My Little Pony and a couple of dog tag necklaces, an Inside Out figure and a little bag of Ever After High accessories.
I came back with a pile of old early 1980’s children’s computer books after volunteering last Monday. I also found a Harry Potter DVD boardgame, two Mrs Hedgehog annuals and the first Adrian Mole book.
On my rounds in Rayleigh last week I came across a fresh load of donated G3 My Little Ponies, twelve to be precise. I even found one G1 pony (Baby Ribbon). Then the following day I spotted a l’il bag of L’il Babies and Oodles, a large G4 pony and Rainbow Dash duvet set.
On Saturday I came back with two books (My Little Pony and Richard Scarry), and Monday’s volunteering found me a Zelf and two Littlest Pet Shop kitten baskets. Tuesday was much more fruitful, with two Monster High dolls, three Ever After High dolls, a Supergirl doll, a baby Lalaloopsy, more Littlest Pet Shop, another Zelf, a Funko Mystery Mini, a Twisthead, a MLP blind bag mini, a Barbie stool and several more packs of Top Trumps. Oh, and a pack of Old Maid.
I found several things over the course of this week in various charity shops including Inside Out, Lego Movie Happy Meal, Top Trumps Angel, TT Doctor Who and TT Cars, My Little Pony, Miles From Tomorrowland, Moshi Monsters, Crazy Bones, Zelf, Elsa, Monster High, Ever After High, Wacky Races, Meg & Mog, and Little Miss Tiny.
The Mr and I popped into Raleigh on Tuesday, and I found a Tickle Me Elmo, Lego Star Wars clock and Mort by Terry Pratchett. We needed milk on the way home, and the bus stop is right outside a charity shop. So we popped in and I found five little toys in the 10p box (including Piypon and Momiji). And after buying milk we happened to walk past another charity shop, where I found an original Furby and a Pinky Cooper doll!
Monday’s charity shop haul, collected up whilst volunteering, , included Monsters Inc., Cat In The Hat, Muppets, Powerpuff Girls, Harry Potter, My Little Pony (fakies?), Lego Movie 2 McDonalds Happy Meal, Littlest Pet Shop, Fizz ‘n’ Surprise and three vintage kitchen items. Plus an odd Lalaloopsy boot and a Pinypon wig. My bag was full by the time I had finished my shift!
My visit to Bath to see the folks at the end of the month was most fruitful on the charity shop front! I bought thirteen Woman’s Weekly magazines from 1972, Pretty In Pink the novel, a Postman Pat LP, Jackie Annual 1985 and a photo book all about Frances Ford Coppola’s “Dracula” movie.
I found a few toys in my local charity shops towards the end on March (Kermit, VIP Pets, Moshi Monsters, Barbie, Zelfs, Party Pop Teenines & a Lego Movie 2 Happy Meal toy) and a Madonna CD. I can’t remember exactly when I bought the Lexicon game as it was hidden in my desk drawer to stop the little cat from eating the elastic band keeping it all together (it was recent though)!
I found three excellent 80’s things this week; a whole bunch of charms, a Sindy doll and a Flower Fairies annual! I also found Moxie Girlz, Barbie, Bat Girl, Snow White, Cinderella, a My Little Pony headband thingie, “Haircutting for Everyone” and two baby dresses for the fabric.
I found a mixture of things this week, including vintage plastic picnic items (Mr Men!), Teeny Tiny Tumbles Surprise, Polly Pocket, Monster High, a furry bunny bag, Black Books and two fruity t-shirts!
Last weeks finds included Lalaloopsy, Monster High (doll and purse), My Little Pony (two ponies and a tin), Lego & Fabuland figures, Twistheads, TokiDoki and Rabbids. I also found a rather nice Kimmidoll bookend.
The mister and I popped out on Saturday for a mooch around town (there may also have been cider) and I came back with all sorts of goodies! I found a Mr Tickle money pot, two Lalaloopsy dolls, a pink Frizzys, The Graffalo, a Puppy Surprise talking baby, two more Furbys, a Moshi Monster, Masters Of The Universe and Fighting Fantasy books, and a Rubik’s Octagon.
