From time to time I come across old children’s Ladybird books in charity shops, the little hardback ones from the 1960’s-70’s. I recently happened to find a couple from the “Well Loved Tales” series of fairy tales and they reminded me how much I used to love the illustrations.
On searching for images of all the books from this series I realised I must have owned or borrowed quite a few as a child, but there were also some that I had never seen before.

Ebay is a good source to add to my collection, but there is nothing quite like finding these little treasures hidden away in a charity shop!
