Pippin’s Greatest Hits!

Check out my TOY SALES on eBay!

I found two books on my way home from work last Wednesday; a Pippin Annual from 1984, and 7-Up Greatest Hits of 1986.

7-Up Greatest Hits of 1986

I wondered why the cover looked so familiar, and it is because it was a companion book to a double album of the same name which I bought some years ago. It’s a surprising good read!

“Every year the Telstar Greatest Hits Album is a best seller because it gives you a stunning selection of the year’s top rock music in one double album.
Now, in association with 7-UP, Telstar have produced this superb companion book. In 128 pages, lavishly illustrated in full colour, leading journalists give the inside track on 65 bands and artists – including a gossip article by John Blake, an ’86 Rock Quiz and look ahead to ’87.
So rock to the music of the Telstar album and read about the facts behind the acts in the 7-UP Greatest Hits of 1986.”

Pippin Annual 1984

This is a lovely, colourful annual features a whole host of classic children’s characters, including Ivor the Engine, The Munch Bunch, The Wombles, Morph, and Mr Benn.
