It was half term last week, so the Mr and I went out and about a few places. Said places, also having charity shops, provided me with a few extra much needed items to fill my shelves with! Amongst my finds were My Little Pony, Moshi Monsters, Furbys and a Fluppy Puppy! I also found a few books (Garfield and Beano), an Alice In Wonderland LP and a Marvel duvet cover.

The Mr and I trundled down to our favourite charity shop on Saturday morning to donate a large selection of books. I then found a large selection of books and annuals to to bring back…
A trip to Chelmsford last Friday turned up a few little trinkets (as well as a whole lot of rain)! I found a medium sized Frizzys, “The Ninth Gate”, an eighties edition Terry Pratchett book (The Colour of Magic) and a Hieronymus Bosch book from the fifties!
A mooch around Rayleigh’s charity shops on Tuesday morning filled my pockets! I found a weird furry hat with teeth, Teletubbies, Mr Men, Digimon, Baby Bop, Barbie, Larry the Lamb, Meg & Mog, and Frasier!
Saturday’s finds include Gimme Gimme Gimme, Teen Wolf, Star Trek, Extras, Men Behaving Badly (through the post) and Paddington! I wasn’t in the mood to go through LP’s and didn’t find any toys worth getting.

This weeks mid-week charity shop perusal found me various TV show DVD’s (True Blood, Battlestar Galactica and Life On Mars), two Ladybird books, the Ready Player One book and a lovely illustrated fairy tales book.
A rummage through the rather sparse 10p toy box in the Salvation Army charity shop this week resulted in six Star Wars figures, two Battlestar Galactica figures, and a The Black Hole figure. I also found a Playmobil and similar figure, plus A Clockwork Orange by Penguin Books from their Film Classics series. Film classic finds all round!
An impromptu visit to the dentists last week lead to various charity shop finds. I found a Barbie “Rainbow Lights Mermaid”, three LP’s, a bottomless money bank doll, “Where The Wild Things Are”, “Pan’s Labyrinth”, and a holographic millennium party CD.
I had a small jackpot today from my charity shop rummaging. I found a lovely condition plush Keyper for 10 pence. 10p! Just a couple of book finds on the way home from work on Wednesday; Monster Fun Annual (1982), and “The Cat”, from the satirical Ladybird series “How It Works”.
I quick browse through the charity shops on my way home Wednesday found me a sci-fi double of Galaxy Quest and D.A.R.Y.L., both in excellent nick. I love Galaxy Quest and we watched it straight away but I haven’t seen D.A.R.Y.L. in years, so by Grabthar’s Hammer, I will watch it this weekend!
