It’s A Girl’s World!

I was more excited than I should have been whilst awaiting the arrival of this 1979 Girl’s World! This is the hair colouring version. The box is a bit beaten up but the head is in great condition and growing hair still works. Also included were several accessories.

More Care Bears By Post!

I bought myself some more original Care Bears a couple of weeks ago from eBay after buying six others in June. Arriving in the post were four poseable Care Bears, four miniatures Care Bears and one poseable Wuzzle. Happy days!

Guardians Of The Golden Cupcake

I found all sorts of things last week! On Wednesday I found the complete boxset of Friends, Guardians Of The Galaxy soundtrack and a few little toys (including Littlest Pet Shop, Cupcake Surprise and Ever After High). Then on Saturday I bought lots more little toys, including Zelfs, Blythe, My Little Pony and golden Moshi Monsters.

Powerpuff Girls Pens

Whilst queuing up in Primark to purchase the Mr’s basket load of socks and pants, I spied out of the corner of my eye the last remaining Powerpuff Girls pens. They were reduced from £2.00 to 50p each. Happy days!

Hieronymus Gets Frizzy

A trip to Chelmsford last Friday turned up a few little trinkets (as well as a whole lot of rain)! I found a medium sized Frizzys, “The Ninth Gate”, an eighties edition Terry Pratchett book (The Colour of Magic) and a Hieronymus Bosch book from the fifties!

Take Your Care Bear To Work Day

I rarely buy second-hand toys, preferring the pot luck of charity shops, but a couple of weeks ago I went a bit mad a bought a My Pet Monster and a group of Care Bears from eBay. Monster turned up first, then last Monday these guys turned up at work!

Perky’s Shagadelic Ukulele Of Doom

A step out through Leigh on Saturday afternoon brought forth Hoobs aplenty, plush My Little Ponies, a kittenless Kitty Surprise, a friend of YooHoo, and more Clangers. Plus Austin Powers, Indiana Jones, George Formby, Frankie Howerd and ilk, and Pinky & Perky. I also bought an adapter and two loose plugs. Yeah, baby!

Galactic Clockwork Wars

A rummage through the rather sparse 10p toy box in the Salvation Army charity shop this week resulted in six Star Wars figures, two Battlestar Galactica figures, and a The Black Hole figure. I also found a Playmobil and similar figure, plus A Clockwork Orange by Penguin Books from their Film Classics series. Film classic finds all round!
