Petite Ponies :: Small Playsets

"They're keys that unlock a world of magic!"

Petite Ponies were produced by Hasbro in 1989-91. They were various sets of small 1" ponies with moulded and brushable hair, and had a horseshoe dent in their base. There were seven different sets plus eight playsets with a total of 78 ponies produced altogether. They had symbols on one side and only the ponies who came with the playsets were given names.

Small Playsets

There were six smaller playsets produced which came with one new pony and were given individual names. In the US ponies had solid tails, where as in the UK all playset ponies came with brushable tails.

All playsets had colour variations of their accessories.

There were three Petite Pony Home. Each one came with its own new pony, and this time they all had names. The playsets varied in colour from their box images and also varied from set to set too.

All US ponies had solid tails, and the UK versions all had brushable tails.

Happy Hearts Cottage

The playset came with Puddles (duck symbol).

Pony Prints Cabin

The playset came with Little Flitter (mittens symbol).

Whinny Winks Inn

The playset came with Flurry (candle symbol).
