Capari [1991-1993] Cigarette Adverts

“You’ve got a taste for style!”

This ad campaign forĀ Capari cigarettes dates from 1991-93. Like the ad campaign from 1990, they were aimed at women, and the colourful photos were all shot outside. The logo was made much smaller, and words like “flashy”, “dazzling” and “exotic” were given priority.






“Dare to be different.”

The later ads from 1993 dropped the “you’ve got a taste for” line, but kept to a similar style otherwise.


“An ordinary slim won’t do. You want to make an elegant statement, one that never goes out of style.”


“Choose a length that suits your taste.”

The “120’s” also had a similar style, with words like “sleek”, “chic” and “luxurious” used.
