Title: [ID: Barbie "Crystal Barbie"] Crystal Barbie's ring - help!

Hello, can anyone tell me what the original Crystal Barbie's ring looked like?

I picked up a Crystal Barbie today for 50p (I am absolutely delighted, as I had her as a child and adored her) and she's wearing her original dress and necklace.
She's also wearing a ring - it's clear plastic with a red gem/crystal in the middle. It looks out of place with the rest of her outfit and jewellery, so I was wondering if it was the original ring?

Can anyone confirm??????

Crystal Barbie's ring was clear with a white stone (looks like her earrings).  I bet the ring you have with the red gem in it might be from Fashion Photo Barbie.  I know she came with a bright pink gem ring in it.  Could be Fashion Photo Christies too since I'm not sure about the color of her stone.

Several of the 1980's Barbie's came with this ring and matching earrings.  They are my favorite. :)

The crystal barbie ring was clear with a "diamond" (clear stone) as Fairy dust told you previously. The stone looks exactly as the ones on the earrings and the necklace. The ring with the "rubi" (red stone) belongs to the Loving You Barbie, from 1984. She came with red earrings and ring and no necklace. I had her when I was a child, and now I recently bought her again for my barbie collection.

Something I wanted to tell you is that the earrings and necklace of the crystal barbie where different from other barbie jewelry of that ages. They are longer. You can see what I'm talking about on this crystal barbie picture on flickr:

She has her necklace, so I would love to find her earrings and ring.

It's interesting to know she's swapped rings with another Barbie - I wish that one has been there, too so they could have stayed together, lol.

Thanks for helping me clarify that.  I was trying to describe the posts of the earrings. :)

I like Crystal Barbie and Ken.  I just got them recently in the boxes and am very happy.  I had really wanted the ken because he was one of my first ken dolls and I remember when I was 3 or 4 asking my dad to help me put Crystal Ken's suit on my Barbie since I couldn't get it on.  I also thought he looked like my dad since my dad has really dark brown hair that looks black. :)
