Whispers emailed me this bear image and description:
"I recently found a stuffed animal at a thrift store and was wondering if you could help ID it. It looks like a Popple but it's not. The tag on it is very very faded so I can't read it but I think it says "Snuggle Love TM" and maybe says it was made in 1984."

UPDATE!!!
Whispers emailed me to say she has now confirmed this bear to be a Snuggle Loves, made by AmToy/American Greetings in 1987.
If you know anything about this series then please email me, as there is nothing on the web about them.
