Lyns emailed me this toy description:
"The doll I need naming looked very similar to a Pin y Pon figure (see ID-ed toys), about 2 inches high, but generally had realistic colours. They came in both genders and had a tiny hole on their tummy so that you could pop on 2D clothes. The clothes were sticker stuck on to flat plastic. You could buy a water theme park/house for them to live in. There were smaller versions (without clothes) they had little playsets, I remember a supermarket and a restaurant. I think I was 7-10 ish so they would be from 1986-1990 roughly! Any ideas? Bought in the UK."
Thanks, Lyns
UPDATE!!!Ruth emailed me to say she believes these dolls were called Poppets, and says "I had a bus that converted into a restaurant and a Beetle car that changed into a sweet shop, they were really cool." Lyns confirmed that Poppets are the toys she is searching for.
