Title: [ID: Powder Puff Sweetheart Playhouse] Help ID-ing two more toys
Post by: cmichele on Monday 28 February 2011, 01:04 am
Ok, no photos to reference here but I did own these as a child in the early 80s.  The first toy was a pink plastic heart shaped house that came with two small plastic figures.  A boy in blue and a girl in pink.  Their faces remind me of the Precious Moments figures.  I don't have any other details to give, other than we purchased it from Sears.

The second toy is a small, maybe two inch tall doll that was stuffed with beans or pvc pellets and the dolls had different animal heads on them.  For instance, I had a yellow bodied one with a gray elephant head and one that had a blue body with a mouse head.  They came in little matchbox type boxes.

Little Twin Stars was a good guess as I thought that's what they were, but I was never able to locate a playset online that looked anything like what I had...soooo..I found a website that lists back issues of Christmas Catalogs and low and behold, I found it in the 1981 Montgomery Ward catalog.  It is called Powder Puff Sweetheart Playhouse and here's the photo!!!
