Title: Vintage Care Bears Puzzles
Post by: zuse on Saturday 12 March 2011, 04:48 am
I was born a bit too late to fully experience Care Bears but I do remember having a Care Bears puzzle when I was very small. I remember that the pieces were very oddly shaped. I also remember the "star" characters were fairly prominent in the picture - those are still my favorite part of the Care Bears to this day!

Anyways, I finally found the puzzle brand and several of the different puzzles they made but none of the pictures look like the *right* one. Let me know if you see anymore, okay? :)

(It was a 25 Piece Puzzle in a box by Golden - not one of the frame puzzles).

I think the background was a soft yellow.

There are a couple of puzzle pics in Care Bear Collectibles by Jan Lindenberger, A Schiffer book
Are we allowed to scan and post from books?
One is yellowish with bears throwing a Birthday party
The other is pink? with bears at a playground

Technically you shouldn't scan in photos from books because it's against copyright but a lot of people do (see how many book scans and packaging scans and so forth we have on this site!). If you didn't want anyone to know you'd scanned in their copyrighted material if you were to e-mail or PM somebody and attach the file then nobody would be the wiser  ::)

That's it - it was a kitchen scene!

I couldn't even remember that. I just remembered yellow background and stars. And none of the rainbow-scened ones looked right. :D
