Natalie emailed me two toy descriptions and images of one:
1. "Hi! I'm looking for some toys I had as a child. There was this mermaid toy that I loved. It was short (not as tall as Barbie) turquoise leg/fins the end fin would move forward and back. Hey hair was pink. She was all plastic with nylon hair but I think she might have come with a fabric top or something."
2. "This doll house (pictured below) I had when I was young. I think I might still have some furniture from it."

Em emailed me to add:
"I know that the two lights by the door lit up. Also, just from speculation, I think since the toy has a handle it was meant to be on the go - sort of like Polly Pocket toys."
UPDATE!!!
1. Thanks to Megan, Holly and Zuse who all identified this doll as a My Pretty Mermaid, produced by Playskool in 1991.
2. Thanks to Em who identified this as Carry Along Light Up Dream House, produced by Blue-Box. The same mold was used to produced a dollhouse for Hello Kitty.
