Yep, they went over the erasers- I remember in school we would trade them with each other and line them up on our desks, not really sure of the mass appeal looking back now lol

The Kachooz are new, tho the idea of fuzzy things on pencils might not be MGA seems to have put their own twist on them. These don't have to be confined to pencils either, they make great cute fuzzy pets for dolls too.

haha, just kidding!! The ones I am remembering must have been a different brand then!! It looked more like the 1 on the pencil then the ones on the ground-

I've got the mouse/unicorn pack. Yep they're pencil toppers and you're supposed to rub the pencil between your hands and it makes the hair of the character splay out everywhere.

I remember the Oriental Trading company made knockoffs of these, but they were usually holiday themed like Santa with a troll hair beard. If I find any pics of them from the old catalogs I'll post em.

It is more like the Kachooz are an upgrade on an old idea. I too remember the ones in the Oriental Trading catalogs. Those usually just had a pair of googly eyes to make the face.
