Any help is appreciated. A yellow Lion, white Swan and blue Pony / Horse figure / vehicles? Marked made in Mexico and have oval center opening for a doll or figure?
-
Did you mean to put this twice?
-
Sorry, I am trying to add an image, but can not.
-
Added it for you. :)
-
It worked, I see the images, they don't look familiar to me but I will see if I can find anything!
-
I have no idea what these are but they are cool .
-
Where did you get them from? And how big is the hole in the middle? Is it big enough for an egg to fit in?
-
The hole in the center of each is about as big as a small oval egg? Reminds me of the size of the old McDonalds McNuggets figures shape.
-
Maybe it is an old McDonalds toy?
-
I have 8 McD books and haven't found these yet. Will look again.
-
Nope, didn't find it in the McD books. I don't have any for other fast food toys.
-
are they for weebles?
-
those remind me of moondreamers and LLL knockoffs very cool find indeed
-
I will try to add pictures of all angles soon. Thanks again.

Figures are listed at auction:

-
Oh wow so you figured out they are moon dreamers??!?!?! I was so stumped on this one and it was driving me crazy lol
-
No, Im sorry I dont want to cause confusion. They have a similar style to Moon Dreamers type characters, I was unsure how to describe them. I have no idea what line they may be from, being sold as unknown. Thanks.
-
ah ok, good luck with the sale!
-
I have looked at pictures of the Moondreamers and I think that these are just knock-offs.
-
I saw something at the flea market this weekend that made me think of this post. It was a play set marked Playskool that had three or four of these sort of "vehicles" that spun in a circle when you pushed down a button in the middle. (The "vehicles" reminded me of a mixture of this and the Moondreamers animals. The center, though, was different.) Off to the side was a ferris wheel. If I go back this week or weekend, I will take a picture. :D

I found this hope it helps

I actually read that the toy didn't do very good and fell apart so maybe that is where these are from.
-
Nice find, that looks like it to me!!
-
That's what I saw at the flea market. :)
And yeah, seeing them next to one another like that, it looks like that's what the pieces are from. :D

Here's the picture for the thread. :)

It seems to have the same mold as this set (but with different figures on the carousel):

I'm not sure why yours were packaged separately, though?

wow is that cute! Nice job Zuse!! Maybe they weren't sold separate but that they were able to come off so you could play with them by themselves as well?
-
I guess my question is - was the cellophane in the original post picture factory or not? Because obviously for this set they were sold attached to the carousel base, not included elsewhere in the box individually wrapped.
-
Well I read that the toy fell apart easily and the figures were sold separately and a lot cheaper. I'm guessing they sold extras if the original ones fell off or broke.
-
Oh, you mean the carousel animals cracked apart at the middle seam or something? :)

I have been trying to find a review and I came across this ad:
http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1346&dat=19921126&id=V5gsAAAAIBAJ&sjid=WfwDAAAAIBAJ&pg=2669,5581597
-
Well I did find this it says that the toy fell apart from being folded up.

-
I suspect that "review" is mismatched to that toy. I don't see that it folds up. And it's a toy from 1991 and only had the one seller list it on Amazon.com Marketplace... And the review isn't actually on the Amazon.com listing.
Update:
Yep. Those two review are for the "Toy Story Pop-Open Playworld" (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001R675YU/)

Flimsy and easily broken, September 19, 2010
This toy lasted about 3 days before it stopped folding easily and pieces started to break. The only durable pieces are the figures, which you can buy separately and far less expensively.

super cute, August 6, 2010
I know we are only in August, but I like to start my Christmas shopping early. When we received it, my daughter (the toy is not for her but for her little brother) fell in love with it!!!! We both cannot wait until Christmas morning to see the expression on his little face. My husband was able to find more figurines at the Disney Store. All in all we (8 year old daughter and I) would recommend this toy.
-
Okay thanks but I am curious as to why these three are not with the carousel toy. Are they ones that just didn't get put on or something?
-
Maybe they were just extra parts that were sold separately.
