Hello I'm RollChan1985 and I'm new to this board ^.^
I bought this Gremlin figure at a store called Star Music in Chinatown Boston,MA around 1997-1998.If you look close on the back of the figure,it has the bumps where the Gremlins are made when they get wet.You can't put a Gremlin in water because they multiply.
I'm guessing that Japan,Hong Kong, or Taiwan made a Gremlin Anime that the US doesn't know about since on the left side of the butt, there's Japanese or Chinese writing for the copyright. In the late 90s,someone told me about a Japanese Gremlin Anime with a cute Robocon-type robot and a big eyed Candy Candy style shoujo girl in the Anime.I don't know how true that is since it could be a rumor.
I'm hoping I could find some more information on this Gremlin figure here ^.^
(Fixed the photos for you - zuse)

He looks very Sanrio to me..
I don't know if Sanrio ever made them, but they are very Anime inpired.I even asked Gremlins On-line page on Facebook about this mystery and they said it was a knock-off.That means not authorized by Warner Bros or anything to do with the Gremlins.

Yea it is Definitely not from gremlins the movie, aside from that it really looks like anime to me....

I would have guessed it was something Pokemon related (from the date and everything). But I think the Pokemon figure I've found are all labelled fairly well. And I assume there are several Pokemon experts floating around that would have caught it in a second if it was. :D

It sort of looks like one of the mascots from Bubble Bobble.
Or maybe a character from the Korean show Kiss Kiss Kiss.

Sorry if I replied late ^-^
It does remind me of the mascots of Bubble Bobble and Pokemon, but it's not.
I even searched for the Korean show Kiss Kiss Kiss on Google and no results. What is Kiss Kiss Kiss about?.
I guess I'm still stumped on this Gremlin figure

Sorry the show is called Kiss Kiss. It's a kids' show. The characters are always changing. It looks like one of the older characters.
