Oh my gosh- I want these!! They are so cute!! I feel like I am on a role today with finding toys I have never seen before and love! :-) What do people know about these? Does anyone remember playing with them as a kid?

Yup I agree these are pretty sweet :) I never had them as a kid (or now!) but I've seen them when searching for tea bunnies and also when people have put the playset in with newer littlest pet shop auctions. I think they've made a newer version of this as well?

yea they did, they are for sale now at toys r us! But I think I like the older set better! :-) Although the older set only has a few pieces, I wonder why they stopped making them!?!? Oh and I was just showing the pics to my mom and she looked at me all confused and informed me that my sister and I had these as kids and that we may still have them! I don't remember them and have spent the last hour or so looking and can't find them so now I am even more curious!! :-)

Bumping this up -- I absolutely had the house set as a kid! I actually still have it, and most of the pieces, too. It was one of my favorite toys!
It actually came with a book showing all the pieces they were either going to make or had already made, and I wanted as many of them as possible. Sadly, I only got my hands on the house and never saw any more of the playsets, so I don't know how many of the other pieces were made.

It appears that they did not make many- aside from the ones I posted they made these as well and I think that is all:

a picnic set, daddy's adventure, and mommy's market all shown on the site I listed above. BUT they are currently making a new version now which I think is also pretty cute!

The new ones are mice instead of bunnies.

You know I don't think I even looked close enough at them to notice!! Thanks for letting me know!

These bunnies were my absolute babies as a kid, and I always plan to make them part of my collection again but keep forgetting!! I had the house and one of the add-on sets - "Mommy's Market," with the grey bunny mom in the purple dress and flower crown (she was the "aunt" in my HH family). I've done a good bit of research since and discovered that there were also plans for a fox family, a bear family, and plush versions of the bunnies, but none were produced before the original line was discontinued.
I'm a bit sad that the new generation didn't flourish quite as much - I think they chose mice this time because they might have wanted a more "gender neutral" approach, but I still much prefer the bunnies. I did like that there was more emphasis on the town surrounding the main "home" and all the different shops and businesses, so we got many more add-on sets than before. :)

How is a mouse more gender neutral than a bunny? All kids like bunnies.
