Vinylmation/ Vinylmation Cutesters- I just saw these today for the first time and I have been looking at them over the internet and I just can't seem to figure out what these are. So do they make small and large ones? Are they like pvc figures? They look cute but can anyone explain? Do people collect these? Are these new? I feel like I am missing something HUGE as they are everywhere!!
Thanks!!

You mean the disney things? Yup they're vinyl figures. It's picking up on the whole designer toy thing - e.g. frank kozik and tokidoki make vinyl toys.
So yeah basically they're a figure. The figure remains the same but they put different images on the figure. These type of things tend to be blind box (so you don't know what you're getting) and there also tends to be a chase figure in each assortment (a figure rarer than the rest). Some of these toys you can buy blanks of so you can put your own deisgn on the toy (I don't know if disney have done this yet/if they're going to). The toy acts like a 3D blank canvas for artwork.

They are kind of fun to look through the pictures! I spent about a hour the other night looking at all of them.
So it is just like a collectable? No real "play" purpose intended? They do sell blank ones, I noticed on the site. I feel like they are a little expensive to be entirely random?
