Title: Doll with Rainbows

Can anyone id this doll?  I found her today with a TON of other vintage toys that I listed for sale on GOTD.  She is also for sale!

Isn't there a set of like Rainbow/Paintbrush PVCs that has been discussed here before? Maybe she's from that series?

Thanks for fixing the picture!!  My other 1 in the sale section did the same thing!!  I am googleing that now, I have not heard of it but could not find it on GOTD- I'm looking though

Called Rainbow Kids but I can't find any dolls- thanks for the lead Zuse

My first thought were those PVC's too and seeing them again-she does look like a doll version. Very interesting.

She is very similar to the Rainbow Kids figures... same kind of hat, same pigtails, same heart-button pinafore. But I see some differences that make me think that maybe one of them is a knockoff of the other. The Rainbow Kids don't have rainbows on their smocks or multicolored tights. Also, her face is completely different -- she has a pink button nose, eyelashes, and rosy cheeks. The Kids have round, peach noses, are eyelash-free, and there isn't a rosy cheek in sight!

So then is she not a rainbow kids?  Hmmmm, any other ideas??

Personally, I still think she is one of them. Dolls and figures from the same line can look a little different from each other.

If she has a tag maybe it says the company? If we can find out the company/branding info on both that would probably tell us if they are or are not the same.

The only thing I see is a tag that says made in hong kong
