Title: Cat, Parrot, Rabbit, and Hamster with a garden gate...?

Another animal set I had as a child had a toy black cat, rabbit, primary-colored parrot, and golden hamster with a white picket fence gate. I remember there being a story about how the cat found her friends near the gate (or maybe they played there all the time) on the backcard.

I remember the figurines being highly detailed... and I also remembering all the time why a cat would make friends with a hamster!

This was a pretty high quality set, so I'm stumped as to why I don't know the name of this toy.

Are you sure it wasn't a littlest pet shop set?

Not 100% sure it wasn't under the LPS name, but I remember the animals being very realistic. They didn't have cartoon eyes like my LPS toys and they were even textured so that they looked furry!
