I have this tiny little (smaller than 1" maybe, I don't have my tape measure handy) yellow dog. He has no markings..

Any help is appreciated!

Is it a Kinder Surprise toy?
-
It almost looks like something that would've come with a Barbie...
-
He is more Polly Pocket or Sweet Streets size but I've had no luck with a search.
I am not sure what Kinder Surprise is. I don't think we have those in the the US. ???

Kinder Surprise is a hollow chocolate egg with a toy inside in a small plastic container. Some toys you had to put together yourself and others were already put together. The toys were kind of small though so I don't know if this is a Kinder Surprise toy.

Kinder Surprise are banned in the US because panicky parents groups are scared kids will choke on the little plastic toys.
They are little foil covered chocolate eggs with a capsule toy inside. The toys arrive crammed into the tiny capsule and when they are put together can be quite a lot larger than expected.
There used to be an Australian equivalent called Yowies that had little click together animals and dinosaurs inside.
If the dog is a Kinder toy, it will have a K somewhere on it followed by a number.

Oh! I remember that now. My son was little when they were banned. He had a few Disney style ones.
I don't see a K or other markings on the dog at all though.
