Title: Plastic Glo Worm with Clip [Aug 2009]
Post by: Ghost Of The Doll on Sunday 07 March 2010, 06:48 pm
Gabby emailed me this toy description:

"Hi! I have sort of a stupid question, but I came across your site and thought maybe you would know. I was wondering if you ever saw a little hard plastic (almost like resin) glow worm. It has a clip on the back of it like a clothes line pin--I'm not sure if it was a pacifier (dummy) clip or not. I had one when I was very small and took it everywhere with me. I can't find any pictures of one online, but wondered if you had, or knew what line it belonged to. This was in the early 1980's of course."
Thanks, Gabby

I think it was a pacifier I remember seeing these for sale in the baby section of a few stores.

They made small resin Gloworms for the My Little Pony (first tooth?) babies, these were about an inch long or so.  They also made a plastic "pen" for the Light N' learn game shaped like Gloworm, but that was closer to 4 inches or so long.  Neither had clips as far as I know, is it possible one of these things was modified by a parent?
