It is dated 1989 Hasbro I thought it could be a "Sindy" But none of the ones on google matched the hands

It's not Sindy...but it could be Cool Teen Pearl from The Little Mermaid Doll Series....

I will add that the head says "!989 Hasbro" the body says "!987 Hasbro" (Obviously the body was used in a previous line)

It's a Maxie doll. Not sure which one though. Perhaps a beach doll?
