Title: Obscure 80's UK toy spaceship

A toy from my childhood that has been on my mind lately.  My memory of it is hazy, my drawing skills are pretty terrible, but hoping someone can identify. 

Purchased in the UK in the early 80's - probably 1983
Not a one off - there were at least 2 different spaceships available in the series.
About 6" long, 2" wide.
Had landing gear skids that retracted into the body.
Maybe silver with orange colour theme/trim.
Maybe partially die-cast.
No figures.
No batteries.

Definitely not Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Buck Rogers, Air Raiders, any kind of Transformer, Manta Force, or Stargards.  Guessing something pretty obscure because hours of google image search have been unsuccessful.
