Anyone recognise these think I had one as a kid

I just asked the seller of these dolls if they knew what they were called or what the manufacturers markings were. No joy with the name but they are marked ''Evolve NPD Ltd 2003''. I found a patent PDF for them but no name so far.

Wierd if they are them then they can't be the one I had cos that was in the 80's :) !!!!
