Post by: Ghost Of The Doll on Sunday 07 March 2010, 07:19 pm
Eric emailed me these toy images as brief descrition:

"Can you identify these? There are no marks and are aprox 1-2 inches, the largest is 3 inches. I sell vintage toys etc and this is the first to stump me!"
Thanks in advance."

Bianca replied:

"Hello, I think I can help identify some toys. The two toys in the second picture are definitely both from The Littlest Petshop. The forth picture of the wind-up toy looks like merchandise from the movie Cat's Don't Dance."

An anonymous emailer replied:

"The orange cat wind up toy with bowtie is Danny from the movie Cat's Don't Dance. It is a toy from Subways. The spotted cat I believe is a vintage Littlest Pet Shop."

The remainder of the unidentified pets are from the Littlest Pet Shop line as well (later in the original line from the 90s, based on a cartoon show).

So much nostalgia.

The Cat's Dont Dance toy was from Subway. If I recall, he had a stand where the pegs are on his feet. I belive that, when you wound him up, his arms would sway and move him about, making him look like he was dancing.
So far I cant find a pic of one in mint.
