I would really like to know what the following brushes are from:

There are actually more Barbie ones in there but I'll let other people double check those. :)

8,9,10 are all from Totally Hair Barbies.

I believe 26 & 25 are Star Fairies. With the purple one being Whisper or Princess Sparkels.

13 possibly Barbie
14 definitely Bitsy Bears the quints brush had 5 hearts on it.
25 &26 Hollywoods dolls
22 snugglebums
12 possibly LLL Enchanted Island dolls
28,37&38 look like brushes for a doll to hold that would fit in Barbie's hand.
18,19,20& 21 Possibly Barbie
24 possibly She-Ra

The ones that are for Totally hair Barbie might also belong to Spectra.

I do think 34 could still be Krystal Princess - it's possible the same comb was used with more than one toy brand. It's shown here as a Krystal Princess accessory: http://ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Toys_KrystalPrincess.htm

The same comb came with with Krystal Princess unicorns and pegasi; I had the comb as a kid and definitely got it with that set.  :) Hope this helps!

13 is a barbie brush. There is a small guide to brushes at the bottom of this MLP page and it is there.

12 is definitely not a Lady LovelyLocks comb (I've had a few of the Enchanted Island combs and they're shaped a bit differently), but 37 and 38 are - specifically they came with Sweetcurl (dragon).

#12 is Crystal Starr's comb from My Pretty Mermaids (Playskool).  Or even the one from the SeaSide Wedding set.

#18 - #21 Match the style of Dream Horse Prancer (Barbie).

See the image showing the back of the box.  It could have been a standard mold for early 1980s Barbie horses.
