Jana and Lara emailed me this image of their ponies.
"These horses were from the 80s and came in two sizes - the big and little shown. The small ones were about the size of my little pony petite ponies. Both sizes came in a variety of colours and had molded-on clothes. They are stamped 'Copyright MT 1988'."

UPDATE!!!
Kimberly emailed me to say these ponies are from a series called Little Beauties.
Unfortunately I have as yet not been able to find out anything more about this series on the internet, and the search term "Little Beauties" brings up a particularly interesting array of items (none of which are to do with ponies)!
If you know anything more about these toys then please email me.

I have some information on these the micro beauties had a play set it was pocket sized. I think it was a high school or something like that . I do not have any pictures sorry . There is also one that is not shown she had a yellow body and a blue main and tail with a scuba set her name was snorkel .

Very interesting. Do you have them still?
Also, do you remember the highschool being more the size of the micros or the twins? I believe zuse posted a pic of a MIB set like you describe in this thread: http://ghostofthedoll.co.uk/Forum/index.php?topic=197.15
I can't quite tell how big they are.

Sadly I do not have them any more the pocket play set was for the micro beauties . :(

Yes the high school was the set i had I wish I had held on to it.

My cousin had a TON of these. They were in the big bin she kept her my little ponies in but we always played with them as "dolls" for the my little ponys lol.
