I have this info on my web site but since it has a virus I thought I would offer it up here:
These bears were produced in 1985 by a company called Wee Win Toys and Accessories, Inc. There were nine in the series. To current speculation they were sold only in the US and Canada. They are Christian Bears that help children remember the virtues in Galatians 5:22 of the Bible: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."

Nice collection! I remember seeing them on your site! :)

Is it twisted that if I ever came across 7 of these I would want to customize them into something less virtuous and a little more deadly?

These are kind of cute thanks for sharing.

Yes, you are very twisted. ;)
Which 2 of the 9 would you leave alone? Love and Joy?

Well I wouldn't care which 7 they were. There could even be doubles for all I care. Its just the point of using this particular mold to create something villainous. But technically a set of "The Five Pillars" Bears would be a more accurate equivalent according to my actual beliefs since I am not actually villainous. I just know there would be more of a market for those since villains are always popular for some reason.

There was a line of Care Bear knockoffs called "Bears that don't care" I used to have all of them. They had things like "Swear Bear" and "Beer Bear" ha ha, I can someone doing that to the Galatians. :)

You have any pics of the "Bears That Don't Care"? They sound funny!
