Veronica emailed me this image and description:
"I have these dolls from when I was a little girl. I recently got them out of storage and cannot find what they are? I thought they were somehow related to Strawberry Shortcake but now I'm thinking not. These dolls are the same height as SS dolls and I think they did used to have a small scent. They have almost all the same features as SS dolls. I have had these since early 80's when I was a little girl and I have had them since the same time as when I had my SS dolls.
Unlike the Strawberry Shortcake dolls that have writing and year made on the base of the neck these dolls only have "Hong Kong" written on their backs with no other numbers or words. Also, the body of the doll is made of what seems cheaper plastic than the SS dolls."

UPDATE!!!
Ashley, Kiruh and Julie all emailed me to say these dolls are called Flower Dolls. Further research found these dolls are called Baby Petals, produced by Fun World.
