Title: Another Unknown Barbie Dress - (non-Mattel)

Here is Miss America "Devon" modeling another of my non-Mattel dresses that I really like. It is a bit more cheaply made than the Creata dress.

The black fabric has a very "fuzzy" feel and is supposed to be like velvet, I think. However it is VERY stiff. It was quite difficult to get the sleeves onto her bent arms. The shoes are just cheap metallic plastic. She might have had a purse once.

I'd say that this one was mid-90s? The bottom of the dress isn't hemmed - it looks like they just went after it with pinking shears!

Any ideas? :)

i used to have that exact dress but instead of the top part being black velvet, it was stretchy purple metalic material and the gloves were the same. sorry i'm not sure where i came from x

Anybody else recognize this. It was one of the seriously cheap brands. Probably not dollar store, but close.

it looks like a Cyndi Lauper dress.
