Hi !
I'm looking for any informations about those fake dolls (nothing written on them, no brand, no "made in").

I know there's a third model : a purple-haired doll with a white pony half-body (a little sagittarius)
they're about 10cm long and the animal piece can get off, so you get a baby doll (looks like a "heart family" baby girl ...)
Does anyone know their name ? Do you know if there's more animal (than butterfly, fish & horse) ? Any photo of the little sagittarius girl ?

The butterfly one looks like a maggot with wings, haha. I'd love to have a mutant maggot doll. :3
They look to be fakies of Kenner dolls.

Even though they are the same concept they look VERY different I really do think the first set is related to barbies or the heart family, as theana said.

I know Steffi-Love had the mermaid babies. But that might be a common concept and I don't remember them having the butterfly ones.

I've heard about Sea Wees & Shimmers but that's not the same dolls :(
it really looks like a heart family baby but a cheap-fake one ;D
I had the butterfly when I was a kid and my cousin had the "sagittarius"... i totally forget them during years until I recently went to a flea market and was surprised to find those two littles wonders ::)
Pikapal > the biggest one (on the right of the pic) really looks like 'my' dolls and I remember that my butterfly had a piece of "fabric" around the neck that was shiny/pearly ! thanks :D

I have the purple-haired doll in my dolls but without her half body. It is a doll from my childhood and I am sure it is a fakie.

I totally had that pink haired one! She was 2nd hand from a yardsale (i'm sure as most of my toys were) and no longer had the skirt, but she still had the fin. I totally remember her being a "bath toy." Sorry I can't remember anything else about her to help.

Oh, my god. I used to have dolls as bath toys too. They had brown hair, and may have been mini cabbage patch dolls. But I seem to remember they weren't, so I'm not sure. But they definatly had SOMETHING to do with the water, hence their bath toy status. I'll ask mum.
They came from Woolworths, they were one ninety nine, and we called them bath dollies, according to mum. Which would explain why I thought they were something to do with the water.
They're probably long gone, since most toys played with in the bath go moldy inside, and we never keep broken or damaged toys here.
