they came out in the 90s... they were fuzzy and small sort of like the bitsy bears.. but they were the winnie the pooh characters.. does anyone know the names?
-
Do you know which company might have made them?
-
I think I know what you're talking about - my sister and I each had a set. They came in sets (e.g. I had a tigger camping set, my sister had a winnie the pooh in a bedroom set) and you could buy a house for them (I think honey pot shaped). So it was like a winne the pooh themed doll house? The figures were jointed and the accessories were plastic. The sets came in a clear plastic packaging, set out like a scene with a cardboard backing. Ring any bells?
Oh and the fuzzy stuff is called flocking. Something covered in flocking is flocked(!)

Can't help you, but aww, they sound really cute! :)
Good luck!

The flocked winnie the pooh toys that came out in the nineties were "Pooh's Friendly Places".

Are they these:

The pictures of the boxes enlarge when you click them.
They don't look like zap18's, but sound like what Mouse described.
They are by Mattel and were produced in 1998.

I have some of the ones in zuse's photos as well, but I posted the ones I did because they are larger (more maple town size) and probably a little older. The ones in zuse's photos are about 2 inches tall.

I have all 4 of the Cheerful Times Collection, all 4 of the Comfy Corners Collection, 2 of the Sun lovin Collection (Piglet's Day of Croquet and also Pooh's Day at the Lake), and Very Grand Garden. None have been opened. I also have Eeyore & Rabbit Collectible Friends, and Pooh & Piglet. Both have never been opened either. I do have some used partial sets also. The Sailboat and most of another Pooh's kitchen set, part of a school one, almost a full set of Piglet's day of Croquet and some odds and ends. Please let me know what you think they are worth and if you are even interested since the post is a few years old. Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. :0)
