Title: 1985 Tonka Rumple Skins Pound Puppies

I have a pound puppy that I have been unable to find information about online.  I also have been unable to find any images of the same pound puppy. The puppy is red with ears pinned back. Any help finding more information would be nice.  I am posting a picture of the dog and the tag. Thanks!

I'm thinking that it may be sun damaged? Like, maybe he started out as the dark brown color and changed to this over the years.

I think that dog probably started out as what I call "raisin dogs" which I have for sale on my etsy store below.

I've never seen one that started out red...

I have many Rumple Skins Pound Puppies. Yours looks like it was the red/brown version that turned more red with age. It seems like a dye run problem.

I have that SAME one!  I have been searching for info on it too, but can't find anything.  If I do find anything then I will let you know.  If you find anything let me know too.  I am assuming they are the original pound puppy made from Rumple skins in 1985?  Or is Tonka and Rumple Skins the same company?

Rumpleskins isn't a brand, it's a type. Tonka is the brand/company. :-)
