I am trying to find these little toy animal figures that I adored when I was little. I remember they came with a mom and some babies, but you couldn't see the babies until you actually opened them because they were in a little bag (you know, like a bag that looks like the stork delivered babies in it). I believe they came with 5 babies, although I'm not totally sure as I was very young when I had them. They also came in different kinds of animals, I remember having a swan, elephant, and bear families. I got them at Toys R Us, and I think that I probably got them in the late 90s. I have no idea what brand they where. Can someone please help me id these?

Were they plushie, PVC, or flocked? Big or small?

Galoob made Magic Diaper Little Joys, but these were released in the early 90s not the late 90s. They were PVC and the babies came in a little bag as you described.

They were small and PVC, I believe. And thanks, I am going to look into those!

Okay I just looked up the Magic Diaper Little Joys, and they are extremely close to what I'm looking for but not exactly it. The ones I had were more realistic looking instead of animated, if you know what I mean.

I know what you're talking about I had a friend who got a set for her birthday and they were pandas but the name escapes me. I am going to keep looking though and try to help with this.

That's my site! And I agree, it sounds like OP was describing Baby Surprise in my Pocket :)
