How about adding a 70s toy section?
-
Hahaha
-
I was thinking of that too because I inherited some 70's toys/dolls from my aunt. But I don't know...disco aside, toys and dolls didn't seem to get rainbow and sparkly enough till the 80's. :P I also really like the concentration on just the 80's/90's because they were such a great time for toys.
That being said, Dawn dolls RULE. 8)
-
I say go for it .
-
All those 70s fashion dolls Tiffany Taylor, Dyna, Charlies Angels, Darci, the Mego dolls.

:o
Are we trying to KILL Sarah??

:o
Are we trying to KILL Sarah??
I really think they (we) are!
Can you kill a ghost? ???

I've not got any particular desire to add in 70's toys. I think 80's, 90's and relevant 2000's is enough to keep me going forever! ;D

I think we should focus on two decades. Most children get their toys from one to two and a half decades. Personally I think doing any more than that on one website is biting off more than we can chew.
If we focus on our speciality, we will become (as we already have) very very good at it. If we attempt more than we can handle, we may not be able to provide as much information as we want. We ARE talking twenty something years, here.

I say let us stick to toy from the 1980's and 1990's to keep things simple.
-
70's is a cool idea. But definetly in the far off future. Once the well runs dry on the 80's and 90's toy. :)
-
This place used to be just 80s toys... then the 90s infiltrated...
-
Hey there are Lots of cool 90's toys. My favorites are from the 90s. :) Im glad they are here. :) Is there such a thing as too many toys? NEVER! :)
-
Haha, I know. But it was just funny how they crept in...
-
The 80's and 90's were really fluid as far as toys go, in spirit and aesthetic. I was born in 1990 so half of my toys were 80's toys that came from yard sales and things, and half were bought new in the 90's--maybe this is why the two decades run together for me, toy-wise. Then everything changed really quickly once 2000 rolled around--more Brattitude and whatnot ::).
The point of all this is that I like just having 80's and 90's toys. :)

I collect a little of everything but too much on one site is going to be way overload. For now at least I vote keep it at 80s and 90s.
-
I think it would be better to focus on 1980's onwards as well. I think its great to have a forum similar to this other one I used to browse for pictures but I couldn't understand what people were posting.

While its great that Ghost makes pages for the toys covered here I like the forum even better. Where else can we share and discuss our love of toys without being confined to a specific one?

Thanks! ;D
