Hi Ghost! I really think there should be a section for Show and Tell. Like anything anyone has found at thift stores, garage sales, found in their attic or purchased. There is a topic in General about this and it is very popular! Let me know what you think. :)

Yeah! Kind of a "Brag" forum.
Also, maybe a sub-forum in the Identification area for unknown accessories? (Combs, random pieces...)

I'd also wondered if an 80's/90's TV board would be fun, to reminisce about our favourite children's TV programmes or pick peoples brains for names of long forgotten shows. And maybe a Boys Toys section. What do you think?

Both are great ideas Ghost! I really like the TV idea since I have a show right now on my mind and cannot remember the name of it. You should make it a TV show/Movie board. :) Also, it would be cool to have a board on Fads of the 80's 90's that we remember. One I just remembered recently is the weird sucker trend. You know those colorful sucker/pacifiers people would wear as necklaces and keychains and stuff. :) Thats always fun to remember!
Lol, and I think that a video game board would be cool too. But yea just suggestions. I know I would use all those boards quite a bit. I am getting addicted to this forum. :)

I would love a whole show-and-tell section, it's so fun to hear about everyone's finds on the thrift store thread!
The TV board might be helpful because every once in a while I remember a snippet of a show or something with NO idea what it was. Maybe a book section too? That happens to me with books too, probably more often than TV.

I second the Book section! I've just started re-reading the Baby Sitter's Club series, and I'm having so much fun with it I plan on rereading alot more of the classic 80's/90's series I loved as a kid. Goosebumps will probably be next. :P

I've started recollecting them! Have you read the blog where the person rereads them through the ideas of an adult? I know that there's one called "What Claudia Wore." Haha.
Is it bad that as a child Clarissa and Claudia were my idea of fashion icons?

I think it might be the same thing you're talking about, but I randomly came across a blog entry where someone put together a fashion show (using actual photos from recent fashion shows) narrated by Claudia with looks inspired by the other members. :P

I think the TV/Movies board could be a TV/Movies/Books/Video Games/Fads board.

I've added a board for TV, Movies, Books and Games (for id-ing and reminiscing) and a board for (http://Show & Tell)!

How about also a board for current entertainment and maybe a board to discuss current toys?

I agree! This place is so awesome and before I came to the forum I still got alot of enjoyment looking at this site and enjoying the toy nostalgia. You rock, Ghost! :)
