Looking for her since 2004
« on: Friday 16 November 2012, 07:04 pm »
I am looking for an African American doll by the name of Hallie (or any variant of that). She came out in the very early 90's. She was cloth body with a hard plastic face. She had a heart shaped tattoo that appeared on her cheek when tempered water was applied and i believe she came wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans. Maybe one of you lovelies can help me on my task? I wanted to locate and hopefully buy 2 of them for xmas. One for my niece and one for me.

Quints? Are you sure? I don't see any heart on the cheek. They look hard-bodied. They're really small, I believe. They came five to a pack. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TYCO-1990-QUINTS-DOLL-african-american-HUGE-LOT-10-AA-/130579099259?pt=US_Dolls_Bears_Toys&hash=item1e671eee7b

There were some that had "disappearing" abilities, though: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313&_nkw=quints+magic&_sacat=0&_from=R40

But... none of them seem to wear anything even remotely similar to what you believe...

Aww, you're welcome! Keep an eye on ebay. Don't you dare pay $150 for that doll! You can get them pretty cheap, really. (Sooooo funny I didn't think of Magic Nursery Dolls, because I collect them. :P )

*hugs* I hope you get ahold of your doll! :D
