I had a doll around the early to mind 90's and I'm having so much trouble finding it. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture because I don't have to doll anymore, but I would love to find one.
Here's what I remember.
You had to order the dolls because they were personalized. You could choose the hair color, eye color, outfit color, name and gender, and it came with a personalized birth certificate.
The outfit it came in was white with little bows printed all over it. It had a matching hat and booties.
Mine was a girl with red hair, blue eyes, and purple bows. I think the outfit colors to choose from were pink, blue, green and purple. My sister's had blonde with blue bows and my cousin's had brown hair with green bows. But neither of them or our mothers can remember what the doll was.
The doll was probably about 16" it had a soft torso but the arms, legs, and head weren't.
If it helps I vaguely remember a commercial for the dolls had an old lady in it. It was like set in a nursery in the clouds if I remember correctly, and the old lady was supposed to be looking after the babies until you adopted one.
