Has any one noticed

I have noticed lately that a lot of sites besides this one have disappeared. What is going on ? So far this the best site that is still up that  has tons of information on toys form the last 20 years or so. Where did all the other sites go ?

I don't know. Some people may lose interest and their domains expire. Sometimes once you set up a site you forget about it... even free domains sometimes go through changes so your site could be lost if you didn't know. Sometimes free domains die... like Geocities and the AOL Hometown. Since those were sites people used a lot about 10 years ago, I'm sure few of them bothered to move their site over to another location.

If you look when the sites were published, some were 5 or 10 years ago. That's a long time ago... and you know how interests and time priorities can change.
