Went to a super 80s/90s yard sale today!

I don't usually find much at yard sales, but I hit a good one today! They had two giant plastic bins full of toys - most of them were Barbies and Barbie accessories, which I left behind, but look what I got:



Eleven Polly Pocket sets with most of the dolls and accessories! I don't collect these, but I know they can be hard to come by with the loose pieces still in them. The fairy set still lights up, too! At some point these will be for sale (don't worry, I'll let you guys know when the time comes!). And then there are the Fashion Star Fillies, Joelle and Calla. I'm not a collector of these either, but I've wanted Joelle since I was a kid, so I'm pretty happy about this find!

My only disappointment was that there weren't any My Little Ponies... and unfortunately after I got home and did some looking on the internet, I realized some of the accessories I saw in the bins were Pony accessories! Agh! But I did ask them if they had ponies, and they said no. Oh well, still I think I got a pretty good haul!

Oh, and the best part? All of this stuff only cost $2.50!

Oh wow, congrats on the haul!   Calla and Joelle look like they are in pretty good condition.

Thanks! Unfortunately, the fillies look better in the photo than they do in actuality. They've got paint rubs all over, and Joelle's hair is ridiculously matted. On the plus side, she does have her original hair accessories... who knows how I'll get them out of her hair, though! Haha!

Cool finds!  Just be patient with the knots.  Maybe you should condition her hair first.  I had a Rock N' Curl Jem with fizzy hair and a twice as Fancy (or whatever she is called) Megan from MLP with really fizzy hair and I took them and boil permed their hair into cute banana curls and now they look super cute!  Maybe you should boil perm her hair.  I bet she'd look great with curls!
