OK this is a long shot - anyone know this bear?
« on: Monday 23 August 2010, 11:28 am »
when I was kid in the 80's I had a brown bear - he was quite big.. I guess maybe 40cm high. although this is a rough estimate may have been smaller 9you know how everything looked bigger when you were a kid?)

 he was in sitting position.

he had a pull string in his side which when pulled made him say several phrases... Only one I remember for sure him saying was 'woahhh nelly'

I hope to god he wasn't just some random toy my mom found me.. i'd really love to find him again..

any Info on this would be great!

I think I remember him. Was he kind of crude.  I think his name was Billy Bob or Buck? Something redneck-ish.

No.. his name was Bubba..

is this him?

Bubba does say Whoa Nelly, I have him, but he's not a pull string bear. I thought maybe Smokey the bear, but his pull string version doesn't say that. Was there possibly a bear on the Bozo the Clown show? Whoa Nelly was one of his big phrases.

I already asked if it was Bingo bear and I don't think it is.
