It's a Small World Dolls in Cherry Merry Muffin Mold... ?
« on: Saturday 20 March 2010, 09:17 pm »
I'm not sure if this is something you'd be interested in adding, but since I had them and photographed them I thought I'd share them.
Basically Disney bought the mold for Cherry Merry Muffin dolls to make a shortlived series of "It's a Small World" dolls. They have the same faces as the Cherry Merry Muffin dolls as they're the exact same mold, just colored differently. Here are the three I had and a photo of the back of the box.

I don't collect the Cherry Merry Muffin dolls, but perhaps they'd be interesting to those who do?  :)

Hi Jennifer, thanks for the "It's a Small World" images, lovely and big! I'll create a page for them now I'm delving into more and more 90's toys. It's quite interesting when moulds get used from one series to another, I suspect it was done quite a lot. Could be an interesting topic to start...

I just found the "America" one at an antique mall.
